Jennifer – NDIS Participant

“I have Multiple Sclerosis & a number of other medical conditions. My major life transition has many changes, at times my health gets complicated. My NDIS Support Coordinator Jeuel, has the ability to take a lot of issues & see what is required to suit me not someone else. She knows me well, communicates regularly, and is sure of a positive outcome. Since working with Jeuel I have never felt alone, unheard, or that my needs are considered slight.”

Michael’s Mother NDIS Participants

We consider ourselves to be extremely lucky to have found Jeuel when Michael was accepted in to NDIS. She was and still is a very good calming influence at a very stressful time. NDIS is a lot to take in and cope with however Michael gets on very well with Jeuel so he feels supported. We know that his future plans will be handled extremely well . Jeuel will make sure of that”. - Margaret

- Kitty and Bruce NDIS participant with Multiple Sclerosis.

“About 4 years ago we were fortunate to meet Jeuel, who at the time took on a support coordination role for Kitty”. “I say fortunate because Jeuel took her job very seriously and provided the very highest standard of service for Kitty. With Jeuel, the service was more of a personal thing and I believe that is why she provided such a great service. We had many meetings at our home with Jeuel and nothing was ever a problem for her. She had immense knowledge on her role and that of the NDIA. If ever there was a question that she was not sure of, she would always investigate and report back to us. She regularly dropped into our home to visit Kitty. Kitty had a special relationship with Jeuel because of the love and attention she showed towards her – that’s what I mean by the personal touch. She is a woman of conviction who will for sure be an asset to any client.”

Our Founder Message

“From a very young age I had a passion to help people, I remember always being there when family members and friends needed help.

Recollection of my young life I had the experience in helping underprivileged families with young children with special needs.

After leaving school and as a naïve 17 year old I made the decision to dive in the deep end and go forward down the path of a caring role.

Firstly by becoming a Nurse, the experience I have gained has  empowered me to make the decision that I would be there to help those in need and I made it my mission in life that I would always care.

In these latter years working with consumers in the disability sector I cemented my aspiration that I want to pride myself in helping people to achieve their goals.

As a support coordinator my mission is to ensure that my support coordinated participants achieve economic choice and have access to receiving the ultimate care services they can whilst in their homes.

Everyone deserves access to these services and ones that can help empower them to create a better life for themselves and all associated with them. If our day to day lives ran on a common set of standards that could not be manipulated by anyone, the world would be a more non-discriminatory and liberated place.

Our journey together will allow human progress to accelerate enabling our dreams to be real. This is my mission in life and I am here to assist in this journey.”

Our Founder Message

“From a very young age I have felt compassionate about ensuring people with disabilities feel included and accepted for their difference. I very clearly remember being in primary school and wanting to befriend a child with a disability to ensure they always felt loved and cared for. I recall feeling an immense sense of happiness seeing them being included and accepted like every other child. This is what drives me and why I started Cornerstone Support Services Victoria. We all deserve equal opportunity and chance to live a life full of meaning and happiness and to be loved and genuinely cared for”.
